In Honor of Martin Luther King Jr's Day, RPL will be closed on Monday, January 15th. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 16th.
We will be closed on Thursday, January 4 due to the weather. If the Vernon Schools are closed due to bad weather, generally we are also closed. All closings are posted on this page, on our Facebook page, and on TV Channels 3 and 30.

Overdrive has a new app available for your mobile device that makes it a breeze to download eBooks and audiobooks for free from RPL. The app is compatible with ios, Android and Microsoft systems through the various app stores. A brochure explaining how to use it can be viewed by clicking HERE.

The Vernon Historical Society has made a wonderful display of old promotional items from local stores that were in Rockville/Vernon. The items range from pencils to books, a clock, buttonhooks for shoes and even an egg separator from a local undertaker. Come on in and see the collection of objects from bygone stores and businesses.
