HOW TO USE YOUR POINT AND SHOOT CAMERA
Fred Byrd, professional photographer, will conduct a class on how to use point and shoot digital cameras. For over 40 years, Mr. Bird has been involved in commercial, aerial and legal photography. He is a certified Evidence Photographer with EPIC and a trainer in the use of digital photography in forensic application.
Examples of Mr. Bird's work will be on display at the library in the Peck Room in the two weeks prior to the class. There is no charge for the class but seating is limited to 50 people. Please call the Circulation desk at 860-875-5892 x 21 to reserve a seat.

Wednesday, May 9, 2012- HOW TO USE OVERDRIVE FOR NOOK OR IPAD WITH NOOK APP., AND OTHER COMPATIBLE DEVICES.
RPL will hold 2 sets of classes on using your Nook, Kindle, Ipod, IPad or other electronic device to download ebooks or audiobooks from our website. Rockville patrons have access to over 1300 ebooks and 1199 audiobooks through the Overdrive program.
Classes will be held during the day at 1:00 PM or in the evening at 6:00 PM in the Peck Room on the lower level. Class size is limited and registration is required. Class participants should bring their hand held device to the class along with any cables needed to connect to a computer. If you have a Nook and a laptop, please bring both.

Outreach Programs
Rockville Public Library provides outreach programming at several senior
housing facilities in Vernon each month. Topics discussed range from
literature to music to classic films to anything of interest to
participants. All residents of Pitkat Congregate Living, Florence Mills and Welles Country Village are welcome to attend. Program
dates, times and topics are announced at each residence.
