Vernon Garden Club:Founded to stimulate an interest in horticulture, aid in the protection of native trees, birds, wildflowers and promote community spirit, beautification and civic betterment. Vernon Volunter Fire Dept/ Ambulance Corp: provide fire protection, emergency medical assistance, rescues, and to mitigate other dangerous conditions. 6 Stations with 80 volunteers.
