Planned Giving

Your Planned Giving now will strengthen the library for future generations.

Different options to consider are:

Leave a bequest to the Rockville Public Library in Your Will or Living Trust – the most common form of Planned Giving. You can leave a specific amount or a percentage of you estate after making provisions for family and friends.

Make the Rockville Public Library a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, retirement plan, or IRA.

Establish a charitable gift annuity or trust – this allows you to donate assets while retaining income generated by the donated assets. These are popular plans because of the financial and estate planning flexibility they offer.

Please consult your financial planner or attorney before setting up your planned giving program to maximize the tax advantages for you and your estate. If you would like to make this type of donation please call the Head of Fund Development, Sharon Redfern at 860-875-5892 x113 or sredfern@biblio.org.
