In celebration of National Library Week, we offer poetry and prose readings of original work by librarians who are also writers. We’ll tip our hats to great librarian-writers like Anne Tyler, Jorge Luis Borges, Philip Larkin, Archibald MaCleish, Per Petterson and Beverly Cleary. Then each will share why libraries are important to them before reading their work.
Corey Farenkopf, Sturgis Public Library (Prose)
Caitlin Kelley, Rockville Public Library (Poetry)
Michael Mercurio, UMass Amherst Library (Poetry)
Cindy Hunter Morgan, Michigan University Libraries (Poet)
