5th Annual Community Tree Festival

The Rockville Public Library will hold its 5th Annual Community Tree Festival from Friday, December 6 to Friday, December 20th with a reception on Friday, December 6 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

We’ll feature trees decorated by local organizations, individuals, and town departments. This year, instead of bidding on trees, participants will purchase raffle tickets, which they’ll place into the raffle box in front of the tree or trees that they’re interested in winning. Library staff will contact raffle winners on Saturday, December 21.

If you would like to decorate a tree for this year’s festival, please fill out the application by Friday, November 15. Trees cost $8 and may be picked up from the library during our open hours.

Guidelines:
– Each tree entry should be accompanied by a raffle box and a sign identifying the tree’s name, theme, and/or sponsor.
– Please do not attach money, gift cards, or scratch tickets to the trees. We will make copies of said items and put the actual item in an envelope marked with the tree name and number. The envelope will be given to the raffle winner when they pick up their tree.
– Finished trees can be brought to the library between November 30 and December 5 during regular library hours.
